God save the Queen!

And her impeccable taste!

Queen Elizabeth's favorite ride is going away...for now.

I especially love the shots of her majesty with her elbow sticking out the window

Her Majesty's original 1983 110 was replaced by Land Rover with a newer Defender back in 2001. Land Rover Special Vehicles has since restored her 1983 110. It is now part of the collection held by the British Motor Heritage Centre.

My clients and I were allowed to tour the new annex at the Motor Heritage Centre back in November. And, I couldn't resist a photo op with a rather Royal 110.

oh boo hoo, so the world largest welfare recipient will no longer have a new defender every year.
thats akin to feeling sorry for the welfare recipient drug dealer in the getto who drives a new lexus while living on subsidized income housing.
It just ain't happening.

Look it up. The crown estate makes much more money for the people of the UK than they receive. The expenses are 15% of the money earned and the rest of the money is free public money. In addition to the direct revenue, tourism die to the crown is something in the billion dollar range.
