Getting out of mud, clever!

Pretty interesting really, have not seen this before.

Not sure about how it performs in deep mud.

Actually an old farmers trick. 45 years ago I stuck a tractor to the underbelly. Then worked all day trying to unstick it, which the neighbor farmer observed from a distance. Then just before dark, he came over and chained a piece of 4x4 across the back tire- and the tractor popped out just like the video!!

Another old trick is to have a 'spool' attached to one of the wheels/hubs- on the outside via the lugs. If you get stuck, attach a cable, and let it act like a winch...

Good trick!

It reminds me of the low-buck version of maxtrax:

I'm a huge fan of the low-buck alternatives
