Wouldnt be as agonizing if you were to have bought a 1 way ticket to FL and do a non stop drive home. :D

I did considered that option but due to time constraints in obtaining tags and insurance coupled with a crazy work schedule, this option seemed better. Is it next Monday yet?

Woot! Woot! 6 days is nothing, try to import from UK that sometimes takes 3-4 months plus the customs clearance. Anyway, Congrats! Post pictures to LRCP and Robby will be tickled!

Thanks Sal! Haven't been to LRCP's website for quite some time. I got your email...let's catch up sometime.

Jason, truck was already in the US...bought it from a Limey in FL.

Funny thing is... As soon as the 110 got picked up, the D1 all of a sudden lost brakes, calipers seized on me....she's the oldest rover in the driveway and as if she's requiring more attention now. LOL. She also did this when the 06 RR was acquired...LOL

Congrats, Glenn, welcome to the 110 fraternity! Now, will you respray in white to keep with the UN theme you have going in your driveway?

Hehehe... I thought about that John, but I think I'll keep it as it is for now. Besides Arles Blue being my second favorite rover color, the paint on this truck is in pretty decent shape.

Thanks!

Been enjoying my new to me 110 over the weekend since I finally got it registered this past week. I haven't had a Defender for over 5 years and having the 110 takes me back to my d90 ownership!

RHD, took all but 20 minutes driving around to get used too! I must have put over 200 miles just this weekend alone!

In perusing over the truck, I noticed this lock contraption on the right wing, any thoughts?

I was thinking more along the lines of the Bugatti Veyron's extra key to unlock the top speed!

Hehehe

Probably an old alarm part. Turn the key to lock, turn it again to in-arm.
