Garage Cabinets

Anyone have any experience with metal 'shop' cabinets such as these?

Not those specifically, but I have used the Gladiator stuff (available at Sears and Lowes). While I have been pleased with the metal Gladiator products, the Saber stuff looks pretty stout. Seems geared more towards true industrial shop use than regular ole garage storage.

Thanks Brian. My personal view is never buy twice. So if I go overkill the first time, then I dont have to replace. However, this would be a $$$ ticket so maybe the gladiator stuff is the best of both worlds.

When I made over my garage I found a kitchen cabinet guy who was changing over his showroom and got a killer deal on a very high end solid wood set of liner cabinets with a stainless steel top...the price was a fraction of what the typical garage cabinets would have been...

I looked at the metal cabinets when I built out my workshop. I decided I liked the Ulti-Mate Pro cabinets the best. They are sturdy and modular to you can maximize the use of the wall space. Their workbench would be okay for light work, but I built a metal topped 4x4 workbench for automotive work.

Go to a re-store or a place that sells donated household items. You can get a great deal.

They're b&w 605 I think. I just finished that setup. Floor is Swisstrax.

B&W 686 if they are recent.. I have an older set of 605's they are much larger of a box..

anyway nice stuff and sound great

I also have a couple of sets of Rock solids (B&W as well) studio monitors

I'm actually selling a bunch of my old stuff if anyone needs compact speakers for the garage..

Last few years i've just been taking the Jam Box out to the pool (Bluetooth) and letting whomever drive it for music - its the same one i now bring to events.. small, easy, and sounds good (not great though, like a good system driving a set of B&W speakers though..) - i had 4 B&W's in my last garage powered by an older denon system which rocked..

For Cabinets - i'm a fan of lista - I don't have any currently but loved it when i did

Good question. Pictures taken from the internet? The lack of oil stains says no Rovers here.
