Galvanizing Questions

I'm getting ready to do a batch of series parts and just spoke to the rep for Azz Galvanizing.
They are the closest to me.
Basically, they won't to do a tube or box chassis that is not brand new.
In the past they have had some break in half because of the interior rusting and have concluded that is it rusted on the outside the inside is at least 50% worse......which may be true.

The other parts (including the bulkhead) are no problem

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Next best thing is the full POR-15 treatment. You must do exactly as they direct tho, or you won't have good results. That means the Marine Clean wash, the Metal-Ready prep, the POR-15 coating and then the Chassis Black. Do the insides with Waxoyl if you think it will rust in there.
All that should get you a frame that will last quite a while.

X2.

There is also KBS Coating. I've used them in the past and it's very easy to apply.

Great Suggestions!

I'm going to try Barry's first!
Hopefully, they will go with it.

The inside of the box beam is the big question though.
I was going to blast the chassis myself but I found a local guy who will do it for "about a hundred.......CASH"
then I have to weld patches in a couple of places and of course the damn rear cross member.

If they wont Galvanize it, I'll put it on my brothers truck (he lives off the beach) up there it wont rust as fast
