Gabby's Big Day

Just went to the pier for a look see. Never have seen security as tight before. Kind of funny seeing four guys in black suits talking into their sleeves when everybody else are wearing shorts and Hawaiian shirts. Talk about a sore thumb.

Commissioning on Saturday.

Still looking for that place where I can carry a paddle and get asked what's that.

The U.K. Went away from aluminum in its warships. This happened after the Falkland wars revealed that Aluninum isn't a good material to use when faced with fires, missiles and bombs.

The US hasn't faced a Falkands type battle in a long time. The lesson has been forgotten.
