Agree. Worthless. It's obvious from looking at the picture the truck is stuck, even with that cage.

At least he has BFG's and I wouldn't say they suck. His spare may not be the best.

I applaud the effort. At least he's wheeling it.

Have to agree though, that cage seems to be a great place to mount the nice roof rack though!

Looking at his truck, there seems to be an emphasis on achieving "the look".

Granted his attempt at the NAS system is somewhat lacking, I do think there can be differing reasons for using them. The limitations and purpose for each must be recognized.

Those who off-road on high rocky cliffs more or less need something approaching a crash cage. The design for such must be far more robust than when driving on flat muddy earth. The stock NAS cage is fine for most, when used as what it was intended: slow roll over (more like roll over on the side) situations. If in Moab on regular basis, though, where trucks can do summersaults, a better system would be needed.

LOL........... In the UK they are making cages that are similar to the NAS ones just for looks purposes. IT just bolts to the roof. Lean it against a tree and it will bend like a pretzel

Hmm... So let me get this straight... If he had a better cage, he wouldn't be stuck ?

Just wondering.

First off I have to say I know someone in this very thread with those same headlight bezels and a much shinier 90.

As far as cages go, well if you dropped any 90 from a plane I am pretty sure the cage might not hold (unless it was Dave's yellow 90 I think his bling steering wheel really helps allot too ) so as long as it does what is needed then it's good. Although I have to agree that that cage doesn't do much but act like a handle to help for spotters to hang onto to keep it from rolling over.
