Francis the Roverlab

Some of you have met Francis over the years and know what a wonderful dog he is, but, as he gets older- he turned 14 this past summer- he's struggling with a few things.

Like today, he pooped in the driveway. Not really a big deal, but I managed to drive my LR3 through the poop with both a front and rear tire, raise the car on the lift to perform some service, promptly grabbed the tire to shake for wheel bearing play and put my hand on the smelly.
Rotten dog.

He sleeps a lot, eating less, mostly controls his functions, but doesn't get up to greet folks much anymore.
Seems happy enough, but pretty sure he wont make it to 17.

Rotten dog.
Would it be inappropriate to buy Francis a beer?

Some argue the best part of wheeling with Trevor used to be hanging out with Franny!
