Probably thinking of Woody's.

Best of luck with your pup, Barry.

FC is a great town....

Went to school out there and stayed for a short while afterward. There are a number of places to go, see etc. Let me know if you have specifics, fishing, kayaking, biking, eating, drinking etc... I had a dog go there for bone cancer treatment as well. School is the best in the country for it. Best of luck to you and your little buddy....

Thanks, I have heard nothing but good things about CO for cancer. Thankfully I think it is very treatable. I am trying to mitigate as many side effects as possible from radiation so Colorado seems the logical choice since they have the best equipment. Would love to mountain bike but doubt I will have time so eating and drinking seems to be the next best thing. Any ideas I will be happy with.

If you like chicken wings Jims Wings has the best around

there is a place in old town called Rasta Pasta that is good.

if you want a good steak try the moot house or charbroiler (old dive but has a great steak)

I would to say hey but we just sold our house and moved

Go to New Belgium Brewery. Abbey Ale is great!

Best of luck with your pup.

Head to Odell Brewery for a tour and get yourself some 90 Schilling. That's the stuff!

Also, Youngs Cafe has the best Vietnamese food I've tasted.

Good luck with your dog! I've done some time there as well.

Odell is good ... FYI, more beer is produced in Fort Collins than in any other city in the US. FC has a lot of micro breweries ... and a big ol honking Budwiser plant.

Best of Luck with the Pup! I spent six months fighting canine cancer (my 22month old spaniel) with an amazing CO trained oncologist in Canton, MI. Good Luck and Enjoy CO while you're there!

That sucks. 22 months old. Did he make it? What type? I thought I had it bad since my dog is 7. Most dogs I see are so old and it is radiation to give them quality of life at the end. My dog had a tumor in his mouth. I thought it was bubble gum stuck to the roof. Turns out to be a slow growing tumor that hadn't spread. I had it removed by an oral surgeon who then wanted to radiate. There is no sign of the cancer now and so many side effects that before I started I figured coming to CO for a second opinion was a better idea.

Odells is good. "easy street wheat" is a great summer brew, light yet very tasty. Still have not thought of the name of the pizza place. 13 years is a long time ago. Good luck with the dog!

The two pizza places I remember in old town are coopersmiths, which also has great micro beer, and old chicagos....

You guys... Beau Jo's is the best pizza in Fort Fun. Great school and I am pretty sure I had a good time going to school there (can't remember much)

Give me a call if you want or we can set something up to meet and I can do whatever it takes to make you and your pup comfortable. PM me for my number and address. I have a very big rescue rotty that loves to make people happy! I live VERY close to the CSU Vet clinic. Seriously Barry get a hold of me, we would love to help, we also have more than enough room if you need a place to stay, all I can promise is a love for rovers, dogs, and beer. To all others, sorry for being such a stranger here, got married, new house (previously owned by college students, moving... has kept me a bit busy. Pics of yeastie in the wedding coming soon!
