Question though- The beauty of the 200tdi and the likes is the lack of electronics. Nothing to get wet, just keep the intake up and you could flood the thing. With these newer deisels does that same principle apply? I'd imagine with all the emissions crap on them they probably have a ton of sensors and such that couldfail if they got wet and cause issues?

Glad somebodies gonna bring a small diesel to the us. Maybe the puma engine will follow!

I clicked on that thinking it would be the 2.2 but its a 5 cyl 3.2 also called a Duratorq.

Yeah, figures american market, amazing that the rest of the world this van comes in diesel and stick only, and the American market gets auto only, and if you look at most rest of the vans we have are Gas and Auto only. Atleast make it an option.

of course the ROW gets the new Ranger with this motor also, and we get no more Ranger...
