I just dont like the body style...the traditional look that I've come to expect suits me better. For 84k they can keep it. I'm sure it will be a hit with the folks looking to add to their collection of weekend drivers.

Wow. 29 speakers.

700 lbs lighter than the previous model

50% fewer buttons

5 cameras all around the car - and you can have them all on at once, or one exclusively, etc.

Rear seat leg room is up 4.75 inches.

375-510 HP

I thought it's one of those "it'll grow on me" designs but I just can't get past the exploder headlights and those non-purposeful side grills, not to mention the gillete mach 5 grills on the bumper.

The interior on the other hand is awesome! They said the water fording capability is 39 inches!!!

As far as reliability goes, I think Rover finally improved on this regard. My L322 (4.2 S/C Jag) had been pretty reliable with no issues after putting close to 18K miles in one year! (Knock on wood!)

Ginny how the P38 was mimicking the London Taxi. Both the current and new RR mimic the Explorer.

Saw the new full sized rangie at the LA auto show yesterday. I like it, much longer than the last model. Got lots of attention, especially the one sitting in water/rocks. Still, I wouldn't buy it, it loses so much value in the first year. I'm sure the new body would help but because they sell so many of them but unfortunately, they aren't worth very much a few years down.

I also saw it at the LA auto show. I thought it looked a lot better in person.

Land Rover Launch video script:
Hi, I'm (douchebag), I'm driving the brand new (current model year) Land Rover (whatever) here in (exotic locale)
Blah blah blah, (laundry list of new features) makes it the most capable ever.
Land Rover's long history of (perfunctory archive footage of better vehicles) goes into every feature of the new (whatever).
Look at me drive thru ( puddles, rain, snow and Hurricane Sandy) Over (rocks, sand, icky greenlanes)
The new (feature) lets me (activity) effortlessly.
The interior of the (whatever) is tastefully appointed in (glossy slick high def close ups of seating surfaces, dash, and funky cubby holes) and painted with (show the paint)
So visit your nearest Land Rover dealer for a test drive of the new (whatever) (thru the parking lot) today!

I like the one with the 2 nature photographers racing up a mountain road to get a shot of a vulture, are there 2 nature photographers that can afford an $80k truck?
