I'd need to drive it first, but I'd probably pay $160,000 Hong Kong dollars.

Does anyone know who makes those galvanized rocker panel covers or guards or whatever you would call those?

The sliders? Many brands, but I don't think any come galvi, just powdercoated. And none will have a step welded to it. Kind of defeats the purpose. Just buy a set of sliders you like (raw metal or needing refurbishment would be best) and have them dipped. Probably cost you under $50 for the dip if you do the prep yourself.

Yeah, I assumed I would have to get the galvy finish locally. I thought of the term "sliders", but the seller threw me off when he posted "Rock Sliders modified to be air tanks for air storage", so I wrongly concluded that he was referring to something else on there. Anyway, putting the term "sliders" into Google Images with LR & D brings up these: Extreme 4x4 Ltd DEFENDER ROCK SLIDERS
...plus some hot ECR porn on pairing similar ones with the steps: NAS Defender 90 Beluga Black (pic & comments ~halfway down pg)
Maybe just get a local sheet metal shop to match the dimensions of what I've got on there now with something more homely like the front bumper & have that galvanized. Ditto for the rear qtr panel plates:

Sure. That's just a folding step and a few of them were for sale cheap just yesterday. They can also easily be removed if you think the slider will get "used" ;-)

I know, right? I giggle every time I look back at this thread.
I can almost see it:
"It looked like a traffic accident, but it was really just copulation!"
This 110 looks like it only made it to third base ;-)

I galv'd my rock sliders. I drilled a hole in each side so it wouldn't explode that'll need to be sealed up. They came out well, one mostly perfect and one the zinc didn't take very well to one corner because the powder coating wasn't blasted off well enough. The blaster I took them to wasn't very thorough. I had to spend time fixing up a lot of pieces and had them blast some over again. They're not used to people wanting parts clean enough for galv since most paint or powder coat. Here's the galv touch up paint the local galvanizer uses. It's a good match.
