Florida - Registering your import

I wanted to hear from others who are importing and registering their cars/trucks from afar, here in the sunshine state. My local dmv said I needed originals of all the scanned documents I have.

Original registration from the car's country of origin etc etc.

Interested in what you have encountered at your local DMV.

Luckily, I've always had the originals and had no problem on that front. The last one I registered had the V5 that states it is not proof of ownership and I had to argue with the manager to get a title for it. Curious what issues others have as well.
