Love that rig. You have a slightly darker 110 to keep it company as well right?

Here is a pic of roughly what I find kinda cool looking. Definitely want a 2 door and some kind of "convertible" would be pretty cool...

Just investigating right now but thanks for all of the responses!!
I sold my FJ 60 this spring and I have a 1978 FJ40 being repainted mustard yellow (032) at the moment. It has the original 2F 6 cylinder egine with 93,000 original miles. It will be for sale in a bout a month. (I originally bought it from a guy from Oklahoma, 2 years ago)

Kevin,
I had a 78 fj40 in that exact color combo Blue with white top. These are hill pulling machines. The manual transmission is geared pretty low so if I went much over 50 mph it felt like it was screaming.. You can get a five speed that would take care of that issue. The tops come off and the windshield folds down.

The 78's had full back doors so when the top was off there was no tailgate. The older ones had split rear doors so you could have a tailgate with the top off. As I recall, the one piece doors on the 78's had the license plate mounted to the door so when the doors were off there was no rear plate. I made a metal plate to fill the gap and create a "bed" for the back when the rear doors where off.

I have never had a vehicle that got more compliments than that one. I used to pull my little fishing boat with it and was a happy little man.

I have a factory panel still to cover the space when you take the top/doors off. It has a tab on either side which bolts into the bottom door hinge holes. I think it is a rare piece of FJ40 kit, but no one seemed to want it when I had it for sale.....

I haven't bought anything from this company nor has anyone that I know but i have read and heard from others that you might have these guys find what you want. Or buy from their current inventory.
