Fishing near New Orleans

I'm trying to plan a fishing trip next month near New Orleans. Does anyone have experience fishing there, perhaps have guide recommendations?
I'm looking to fish inland for redfish, trout, and the like. Not so much into crappie or bass.
Thanks in advance!

Big fan of Cap'n dude (www.captaindude.com). My dad uses him all the time and I have fished with him a bunch and had a hell of a day

Great for inshore. If you're thinking about offshore I can get recs

For instance, this was one trip I took with my sister and bro in law. 6 people caught these in a morning. Atypical, but one of the best days I have had and all thanks to The Cap'n

Thanks Bennett. What a great haul!
We plan on staying inshore about we'd be really lucky if we had a day as good as that, I know.

Been reading a lot about Venice and I see that the Captain Dude is closer to NO.

Venice is great for offshore, but no need to go there for redfish. Long drive that early in the morning.
