I hear those put up quite a fight.

PS work on the Allmand begins Wednesday. General clear out and prep for dropping in the soup. Hope to put some scales on the deck soon.

OK, so it's not from this year, but I thought it was worth sharing. It was certainly a very tasty Bluefin...

Jonesy - that was in Hatteras. This one was just a baby. Bunch of friends used to go Blue Fin fishing in January. ISTR, on this trip, we had one monster that actually sheared the fighting chair. On a previous trip, we had caught a 350+ lbs. monster, parts of which are still sitting in my friend's parents' freezer. We bought a new 55 gal garbage bin to load all the tuna for the trip back to DC...

Despite our third kid being born this year I've managed to explore some local waters every couple of weeks -- New York has been good for fishing for me this year! More fishing than years past combined!

Jonesy,

I've not thrown the fly for the salty guys, but dear heavens are there opportunities here in Georgia for their land locked brethren.

This has been a good season!
