Finally Hung the Land Rover Sign in the New House

Just finished our new home and I had to make the garage my Land Rover sanctuary. I got this sign from one of the local Land Rover dealers when they were switching signage. We built the frame and put the rusted tin on the front. Also bought the lighting for the box. I'm sure it cost more than the sign was worth, but that's the Rover way! Enjoy!

I literally got on my knees and prayed to that picture. That is the most amazing sign display ever. Thanks for sharing!

I like the board you put on the back. Did you not get the complete frame with the sign? I have one sitting in my spare room, but its so big I don't know what to do with it. I got the one out of the showroom, so its in perfect condition and too good to put in the garage.

Thanks guys! I just got the lexan plastic insert. I had to fab up the frame. I think this one was used somewhere outside the dealer. It was in fair condition. This sign is heavy though. I used a french cleat in the back to hang it. It's in several studs.

Oh man, that's sweet. My contact at the dealer got to the sign guys at the last minute and they had already mangled a portion of the surround. So they took what they could. You need to get that sign hung!!! My garage is huge so I was happy with how proportional it looked.

Looks great! Love how it's illuminated with the frame. Jimmy would you RURR that sign to my house?

I'm probably going to hang onto it, but if I sell it I will definitely post it here and I'm happy to accommodate RURR.

All of the dealers I called said they had to pay a core fee or whatever it's called. I kept asking what the fee was and that I'd cover it but they always seemed so far from the decisions that they had no idea. Most of the ones I've seen come up for sale are either from members of those firms in charge of removing the signs or people who got to them first.

I hung mine with the original oval. It's heavy but mounts well and it houses the lighting.
