Finally have my D-90..

After a long 6 months searching for the 90 that was just right for me, I finally found it! I can't tell you how invaluable this forum was in answering question after question. The search feature just leads to nugget after nugget of great information. Anyhow, here are a few pictures, it is a 1995 with 111,000 miles, and best of all no rust..... California truck most of its life so very clean...an yes I know, the exhaust tip has to go..hehe

Congrats! Looks sharp.

What # is it?

BTW as you are in Maryland, you should join R.O.V.E.R.S. www.roversclub.org

Thanks for the responses. It didn't look that good when I bought it. Paint was oxidized and the interior was filthy. So, I spent most of the weekend cleaning and waxing. The wax really brought the paint back to life. I expected it to look good, but it really looks incredible now!!

Ron, I can not remember what the number is...lol.. hopefully, that doesn't get me kicked out of the d-90 club...hehe.. I should know it since my son asked me about a million times.."Why does it have this #### on the back?" Also, yes, I am not familiar with roversclub.org, but will head over that way now and check it out. Thanks again.

Nice.

Which wax did you use?

Time to remove the NAS brush guard and side steps. :-)

Oh, and be sure to replace the oil cooler lines ASAP.

I used Einszett Metal Polish for the base and then topped it with the Einszett Glanz wax. http://www.1z-usa.com/ It came out looking stupendous, if I say so myself.

Yes, the side steps are coming off, but the NAS brush guard....is that thing considered not "cool" in D-90 world?..because I like it. lol. Also, the oil cooler lines will be done immediately. Read too many horror stories! Thanks again.

Thanks for the info on the Einszett.

The NAS brush guards are worthless and weak. They cause more damage than they prevent. You'll bump into something and it will bend and smash into the front of your truck. I like these better:
