Finally got my D90

Pretty excited & didn't quite know where to post this, obviously mods please move as needed. Found this on CL in 2012, exchanged emails but never agreed to terms. Listing & emails trailed off. Re-contacted OP a month or so ago & they were ready to sell. It looked great in pics & when I flew to Spokane(based on y'alls advice, thanx) it looked really great. Bought it at really good price(think sub-23k), little to no rust, lived in Sun Valley ID, till 2000, then in Spokane till now. Trailering it to MIT in Evergreen for a thorough check, then driving it to Houston. Been lurking this forum for more than the 3 year join date, so thanx again to all of y'all that offered help, I got more than my money's worth from y'alls advice. Hope to finally meet a bunch y'all soon!!!
Danny

I have an OCD that I can whip up in an instant and the list of obsessions is long, more'n 3 years in the making...Ultimately(if there is such a thing) conversion to a 300Tdi, but thats just from info on the forum, engine felt good n strong, suspension held up to the hotel speed bumps well . Between here n there, armoring it up for rocks,(eventually moving to Durango). There's a lot of original eqpt still on there, so I may not wanna muck w that(famous last words). I am wide open for suggestions, and I'm sure we'll be in the Hill Country real soon.

Congrats! Looks good. Glad you decided to make an adventure out of it and drive it back...if its checkup comes back good.

Transporter for my D90

I'm gonna echo what a lot other guys have said: Athena Hall is great. Called her on a Monday she had me all set by Friday. Landed in Spokane Saturday 1-ish PST got picked 4 hrs later. Original told he'd have it in Denver on Tuesday. At time of pick up he said it'd be there by monday. There was some confusion about her contact info but she is Florida nowadays:

Congrats on the purchase. Get to know her a bit before making any decisions. They like to be driven.

Oh, and moved to Misc. Chit Chat.

Would enjoy getting together, meeting a few other D90 owners in the area, networking always helps! Next few weeks crazy in the restaurant business, might have to be next year!

I'll have to get some photos up soon.
