Filson at a discount at sierra trading post

I never see filson discounted so I thought I would let everyone know Sierra trading post has some filson stuff at a discount. I got the barn coat thing for $127, $140 shipped. 38% off was STPs price and my catalog had a 25% off code.

Some other stuff too.

ALSEPT3 worked for me
EMY13 is the backup if it doesn't take the 1st option.

Ya. My XL is pretty big on me, but I can layer.

Some Filson stuff is still made in the US - you just have to make sure and check. Personally I love the US made gear, but feel that the foreign stuff, while good, doesn't quite live up to the price.... unless you get a screaming deal through Sierra. I got a pair of Wolverine 1000 mile boots (US made) for $100 on Sierra... factory seconds, but you would never know it - awesome boots!

I just received my $108.00 (lol) umbrella from Filson that was back ordered for 6 weeks...It's outstanding and the best umbrella I've seen with one exception. The slide on the shaft where the canopy arms attach is plastic...and not even a hi-impact plastic...seems like an important part to cheap out on. I'm going to inquire about it.

Yeah...don't ask what I need an umbrella for in Texas! lol...
