Fiberglass Hard Top for the D90

I am thinking about converting our ST to SW and so I was researching my options online. Anyhow, to cut long story short I came across an online outlet called D90Tops.com (see below). Did a search on here to see if these guys are known to the D-90 Community, http://www.d90tops.com but needless to say, didn't find anything.

I think they're part of Rover Racks/Voyager Racks (Voyager Off-road LLC) based in southern Florida? Hoping for feedback if anyone know about these chaps as I am interested in exploring a fiberglass option as a quick swap between my ST in the summer and SW-of-a-sort in winter.

The only issues I am aware of would be getting a good seal and the cut-out for the external roll cage.

What do you folks think? Have you got any experience with this company? What do you think of the kit price ($3,599).

Cheers!

I think it looks nice, but you could probably grab a used one on here for less than half of what it would cost to get that one from Florida and ship it to you.

Search
"1994 Defender 90 - Arles Blue $25,000"
From the pictures it looked like an improvement from the OEM original fiberglass top. Pricey though but I think if you are looking for some customization, it might be worth looking into.

You can find originals out there but nice ones are very rare.

True, Shawn but I like their marine-quality standards that seem on the face of it the right way to go with reinforcing the fiberglass with appropriate steel/ally in the right places.

Plus the kevlar technology would likely help further. On the face of it, they seem to be doing their homework with some sturdy/robust upgrades meant to last. We could throw money at all kinds of enhancements if budgets permitted, eh?

Aye, I've been looking BT but so far with no luck. May just have to bite the bullet if I'm going to go for it. I like the idea that it will be relatively easy to swap between the two without too much hard work on my part. The Feds will stuff me at the border as well.

Not sure if I'd need to unbolt the reinforcing kit above the doors but no biggy. Just have to build the routine into all the spring and autumn jobs I have to do around the home. Ha ha!

What did you search? Plenty comes up if I search Rover Racks fiberglass.

Just their URL but I take your point. They have too many names as a company. Yet more dilution and pollution of the forum.
