Just tell them your Defender identifies as a Jeep. Should be able to get in anywhere then.

Amazed they didn't drain all of its fluids, you can see oil or gas pouring onto the ground every time the cars lifted off the ground.

I confirmed what I suspected today. And, I'm happy to report that the original poster's assertions were misguided. The federal government is not out hunting around the US for Defenders in private ownership.
