Fairey PTO Winch

I'm taking the Fairey PTO off one of my defenders and will have it posted for sale in the coming weeks. Wanted to put this out there in case anyone is currently in the market for one.

This isn't a for sale thread. It's a misc chit chat thread.
I don't have a price because I'm not listing it for SALE
As seen in the "for sale thread". Are u interested or
Just interested in regulating threads and busting balls.
Curiosity is killing me.

He once bought a whole truck from england and shipped it here just to get a PTO winch.

To be honest I have no clue on value of it so that's why I didn't already post it in the FS section.
Figured I'd let everyone know I have one and see what interest level was while I research its value. Not really looking to make a killing on it but fair value so I can use some of those funds to pay for the many other parts I'm trying to Pay down now.

I'll go ahead and post some pics up later today.

Since I am interested I am biased, but you can find others that have sold. Limited market and all so hard to say. Condition is important and it needs to have the bumper with it. It is really the best winch made and you should keep it and use it.

There are many flavors of PTO winches.
Front, rear, hydraulic, and so on.
Without specifics, it is hard to understand what you have and thus determine interest.

Yep. True. I'll get more specifics on it today and post some details as I know of them as well as some pics.

Here are a few pic. It's pouring out so no pics of the bumper as it's out in my shed so I'll get a few pics of it tomorrow.

So I'm coming up with several prices from some recent sales on these bad boys and honestly could use some help on fair pricing.

Thoughts?

I sold a 14k pto Superwinch with bumper and pto unit and drive shaft and shifter
for $800 three years ago.

Never forget the night Ron demonstrated his for me after we had been @ Roach Obriens drinking bourbon,
by far my most memorable pto winch experience.

As it sits now, it's still on the truck and functioning. I'm taking the entire set up off so basically everything that is needed to operate the winch will be part of the eventual sale. To be honest, I'm not sure what all the components are associated with it but regardless, all the parts needed will be included in the sale.
