This was the last we heard from Carmen on the subject.

Anyway thank you again and I'll keep you informed.

Some work on internet: ULC/David often accompany any kind of compromise with ULC/David walking away with a signed document from dissatisfied customer that the customer will not make disparaging remarks. Anyone hear anything about this?

Does ULC stand for Un-Limited Codeine? Cause you have to be some kinda stoned to deal with people like this.

I don't think he is trying to screw anyone really. He just does not manage the business very well.

1. Advertise a truck based on the description from UK employees...
2. Sell truck based on deposit.
3. Ship truck and have import problems.
4. Truck gets here and is worse than he advertised.
5. Tries to fix up truck without incurring much cost so that the buyer still gets it.
6. Poor management of shop work and employees and truck never gets done.
7. Poor customer communications probably due to the above....

What should have happened, was at point 4, he should have refunded the deposit and stated the truck was worse than expected and not viable for repair.

Yes they do. I also blame them for global warming, captive orcas and my wife insistence that I try yams.

Doesn't make a difference that he's "not trying to screw anybody".

He screwed me out of a hundred bucks over shipping and never responded to multiple emails.

Runs a sloppy shop/business.

Not sure why people are still debating the quality of the work/person.

I moved on.

I'm still waiting for a Paypal refund to be funded but either them or Master Card will make it right. It's sad that we are watching several people's livelihood evaporate before their own eyes and it appears they are not overly concern.

You know people defended gb4x4 for quite a while and kept allowing him to do business openly on the forum for a long time. Do you honestly find this surprising with this site? A dudes truck was completely taken and instead of an uproar there were excuses about how it's not said individuals fault and the forum banded together and turned the other cheek at the business as if they still had no responsibility and helped the guy who got ripped off out. I think people only cared because there was actually no money for him to get out in the situation. Aaron ripped me off on a transaction and I was able to trade away my problem because it was a cash deal and was just extra money burning a hole Not pennies saved up for a dream vehicle. I dealt with ULR and at least compared to Aaron they were waaaaay better. Granted I don't have a clapped out rust bucket so my work with them was very specific and easy and in person.
