Smile Experience with international shipper?

Can anyone recommend a shipper for international moves? I'm trying to estimate costs to move a household from Denver to England.
Any advice appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Art Vigil

why would you want to move here? extortionate taxes, high cost of living, silly fuel prices, we all want to move else where!

Nail on the head, all those things, especially the travel & of course Land Rovers! And because, I can. My wife is from England with family in London and Surrey, so we'd like to be close 'enough' to them, but not too close, if you know what I mean. I'll always love Colorado, my family roots go back nearly 300 years here, but my dad passed last year and now mom is moving to AZ, so my obligations have changed and I think it's time to try something new. We're just starting the process of gathering information, so it might be a while, but I really appreciate the responses.

For you UK members, I'll be first looking for work in the Architectural Ironmongery field, if you happen to know of any openings.

Kind Regards,
Art Vigil

Art, to work here you need a work Visa. Make sure you get that sorted as priority 1. I have an american friend that is married to an English guy who has been here for 3 years and she only just got permission to Officially work!
London and Surrey are reasonably expensive places to live with high cost of housing. Though there are cheaper areas like Farnham and Guilford. The further away from London you go generally speaking the cheaper housing gets.

Good luck

Whilst land rovers are cheaper if you buy older ones new ones are not a new fully loaded range rover is over £80,000! or $128,000

Good luck Art. Sounds like a great life change. No doubt England is crazy expensive compared to the USA, but remember, you will hopefully be earning a wage in GBP not Dollars so the comparison becomes irrelevant.
I have family friends in England who speak like Julian ie they say they would like to move here. But I can tell you they live a nice life with much better leisure/family time and healthcare etc. Than most people here in the States. They have a family vacation home in Spain and France and he gets about 8 weeks of paid vacation per year, and he isn't even 40 yet! They had twins last year, totally free no bill from the hospital no co pay etc. And he got a month family leave plus the 8 weeks vacation!
In the end both countries have pluses and minuses. I hope it works out for you.
