Excellent Service

Trevor White at RovahFarm has done it again! I placed an order yesterday, at 10:49am and he got my stuff to me by 9:53am today. A lousy 2 hours of wrenching in a parking lot and I now have a new clutch MC and SC installed, bled and the rig is moving again. Thanks Trevor!

Given the recent spat of sour experiences about restoration shops, I think it is good to reflect upon some of the people providing excellent customer service to the rover community. IMO, Trevor, is one such person.

Great idea and thanks for sharing. I had been thinking exactly the same thing: need a thread to highlight the unsung good guys out there who offer expert, professional, specialist service with a smile, fair charging, fast work and above all a dedication to client service that is more like brotherhood than business.

For me, as I have posted elsewhere, I have had fantastic help from Chris Viola at Rovertek on Long Island. Same story, fast help in an emergency, going the extra mile and beyond, expert knowledge, creative problem-solving. His shop is a Land Rover gem in the Northeast.

In a forum where bad reviews have been sprouting up with increased frequency, this is great for a change.

I just had a good experience with Scottie, the BECM Doctor. He's on here restoring a Series IIA.

And Pendy has been a very big help cleaning up someone else's mess up job on my Disco.

My local purveyor of LR work has been great and responsive about fitting my 110, when possible, into their busy production schedule since I cannot currently (torn bicep) work on my own shite. It is on an as available status which I am great with, and going out of their way to help me fine tune the stuff I did myself to make it perfect.

I would also wholeheartedly recommend Trevor at Rovahfarm.He knows the meaning of customer service.His prices are excellent and gets you the proper parts quickly.He is very knowledgeable.Give him a try.
