Europe...

I am going to Europe in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone here has ever been to Slovakia. I am going to Vienna and was wondering if it is worth it to stop by Bratslava for the weekend. I have a few open days and was just thinking about checking out a couple other places.

All the best,

Nope... But can you smuggle a few parts in your suitcase for us?

Are you going for work or vacation? I have been to Europe a few times for work, I always try to stay a few extra days. Have fun.

I've never had a bad experience in eastern europe. My former boss did embassy work in slovakia, she loved it.

Couldn't agree more with Jim. Eastern Europe is beautiful. I've never been to slovakia, but have heard great things about it. Vienna is a beautiful place. Enjoy!

Ditto all the above. Friends just returned from furhter down the coast and loved it. Vienna is nice, but not my favorite city over there. Take the opportunity and go. Oh, and just to close the thread, when you get back, post a pix of two of the country side.
