Engle Fridge Two Zone guizmo

Anyone seen one of these in person ?
I like the idea of making my 35 a 56 liter fridge and keep the same small footprint, especially with the way fridge prices seem be going.
I'd want to see one before splashing $400au =310usd

Run it in freexer mode and have ice and ice cream in the bottom and cold drinks and produce in the other zone, like your fridge @ home.

Looks pretty nifty. We were just talking freezers the other day...

Doug, didn't you pick up a smaller unit to run as a freezer so you could have ice cream with your dump cake? Would be nice to have it all in one unit.

It is pretty useful for longer trips. I use it regularly for Hole in the Rock when feeding extra people. Awesome? It is basically quality cooler material shaped to fit on the top of your fridge and slide into the lid pins. I can't understand why it is so expensive. I lucked out and bought mine used.

Yep- I have an Engel 15 and the Mt35. Looks like they make these for both.
My problem with larger fridges is the floor space they eat up so this appeals to me, then the two thermal zones makes it uber cool. The testimonials page has some pretty awesome letters, like lettuce lasting 3 weeks in the outback while frozen items in the bottom stay rock hard.
The amp drain also sounds to be quite a bit less than running two units.

The don't appear to have a US dealer....maybe set Trey up

What a great idea. But shipping from Shayneland would cost mega bucks.

It does increase the height of an Engel 45 significantly. I've got the fridge mounted to the floor in the 90 and it isn't a problem. If I use the fridge in the Classic I really can't use the Two Zone. There isn't enough clearance to open it fully in the space where the driver rear seat used to be.
