Engine for new project

BigRich here! New to the forum and need your help. Just picked up my new TD5. Any advice from anyone who has installed one would be thoroughly welcomed. What say you hive mind?

Thanks bud!

Welcome! Question...you have 20+ Rovers and you're asking for advice on a TD5?

Twenty is an estimate. They are mostly in pieces and have tdi's. I haven't dealt with a TD5 yet. Thanks in advance gentlemen.

Don't know how many miles. Thinking about crafting one from a solid piece on my lathe.

Plan b from these guys. There are probably others to. http://www.rakeway.co.uk/page28.html

No fan of dmf's after one left a family member stranded without warning and gave them a massive bill to fix.

Why do you need a puma? Td5 is more powerful than the 2.2, or at least it feels that way.

Anyways, I'm confused as to how I haven't come in contact with you? Are you a shop? Where are you located?

Not a shop; a Man. I don't do the Rover circuit if that's what you're thinking. I keep most of my stuff out of state, anyway.

So, would you be willing to part with that sweet 110?

Well I wasn't thinking rover circuit, but most rover people in the area have swung by RN at some point to show off their goods.

110 is the RN demonstrator, not for sale!

OEM straight from the UK seems more reasonable than RN's prices. I almost save money ordering from a dealer over there.

Showboating will only invite futile offers and hero worship.

He's calling BS on you being an actual rover person, not on the prices. Though I can call BS on that.

I'm not a "Rover Person," but a vehicle enthusiast. I own Rovers; they don't own me bro.
