Engine Block Coffee Table

I can't believe my wife agreed to it but she said that I can get an engine block coffee table if we redecorate the living room. What block should I get? If you vote other please list it below.

Go V-12! Jaguar is probably cheaper than Ferrari, both are aluminum.

Congrats, but I'm not sure who got the better end of that deal! ;-)

V12 cylinders are usually too small to hold wine bottles. Just an FYI

Go V8 for four bottles of vino and four Pistons to hold the glass

Go Porsche if you want to hold Texas fifths! ;-)

The 5.3 liter Jaguar V-12 has a 3.5 inch bore. Typical wine bottle is 3 to 3.2 inches in diameter. Plenty for all your friends!

Plenty of 12 and 19 engines out there going for scrap. But a V8 is cooler

Detroit 8V71.

Or 12V71, should have no issues accommodating wine bottles in the bore.

Good to know. I was just referring to the suggested Ferrari blocks as their displacements are usually pretty small ;-)
