ECR Sale

For anybody interested, I saw this on ECR's website today. Didn't know where to post it, so I put it here.

Okay, so my cut and paste isn't working. Whatever, they have take off Bestops for 95-97 Defenders for $200 plus shipping. Just an FYI...

OK here's the link

http://www.eastcoastrover.com/usedparts.html

Are the 110 axles for $500 worth buying to upgrade my front to HD? I could sell the sals rear as I think it's too big for my needs,,,,,,, well maybe not?

Follow-up Post:

PS anyone buying the 130 rims make sure to go for the set at the bottom of the page for $40 each rather then the other set at the top for $75 each

What's this mean:
"The front axles gives you all the parts needed to set up your D90 with a HD CV joint front end!"
(1993 NAS D110 axles, 3.54 gearing, front and rear $500. for the pair)

Are the NAS 110 front axles already HD?

Are the 110 rears Salisbury axles? How hard would it be to mate front and rear to a Disco I? Basically Im asking if this setup will be stronger than the stock axles and if they'd be easier to install vs. looking at an FJZ-80 axle swap.

Only the rear is different. The front is the same axel with differnet CV's.. I think. I'm not sure about the disco setup but I would imagine if you leave out the bouge (sp) leveling unit you would just have to change the rear spring mounts due to the larger diameter. or put smaller mounts on the new axle. Rear links should bolt up as well as the upper arm. I'm not 100% but I think that's it.

Rear axle on a NAS D110 is drum brakes, just so you're aware. You would need to swap it over to disk brakes to keep the proportioning right. (Is the master cylinder different? or just the proportioning valve for a Defender with drum rear brakes?)

Sweet, so for $500 I'd have axles better suited to 35"s than the stock axles?

sort of.
the Salisbury has the same diameter 24 spline rear axle shafts. It can be upgraded to 30 or 35 spline. The 30 spline alloy axle would probably be a pretty good setup. To go 35 spline is alot of money.

The NAS D110 front is not an improvement. It has 10 spline diff and 32 spline CV's same as what you already have.
