I bet it involves two per side of the parts off a NAS D90 and a seam somewhere.

We're talking about this, right? Aren't there two seams about a foot apart above the wheelwell?

Yeah that will yield a similar effect but not a perfect match. Here is a cant bar I repaired for Land Rover Dallas using Line X.

To answer all questions:
Tom - it's the only page on Facebook I go to. It is a public page. I will leave the trolling on facebook for bears to you.

As for the seam, it doesn't seem like a high res shot so I can't tell but since it is obviously a truck where no detail was left unattended I would hope I couldn't see a seam, but obviously horsey if I was going to ask a question regarding a project that cost 200k I would of course hope you would chime in with your expertise. Actually why don't you be a good helper monkey and go up to ecr and take some photos. You are great at helping post pictures.

As for linex repair, it looks good, any other pics?

I'll have to look back through my emails and see if I can find some other pic's. At the time I was wondering why we (enthusiast) haven't found a company that manufactured the padding on school bus seats? Was that not the same type of pad?

If you used 2 per side it would not put the tube for the alpine bar in the middle of the new bar, and that has to be in the middle.

Which would be why there appear to be two seams about a foot apart above the wheelwell, not one.

Correct. There are seams in the foam and the alpine bow mount is in the middle where it should be. We did not have budget or time to make it a one piece foam piece. That would be crazy money. We still need to fill in the seams, but it came out quite good and it is all still padded so if you bump your head on it while sitting in a jump seat it is still padded (unlike something Rhino-Lined).

It does look good and hell it's not like it ever existed prior to this! What do you guys usually do when the foot of a cage is coming apart? Do you attempt to mold and fill in or just replace?

That is why they pay you the big bucks! With the two seams I guess it means there are THREE per side. (ron good would have been to drill a new hole . . . )
