Ebay UK user yetanotherwittyusername 110's now smokeandpetfreehome

Just a heads up to anyone who followed this thread originally. This seller has changed his ebay user name to smokeandpetfreehome and appears to be selling his same line of bullshit on ebay UK. If you are thinking about bidding on one of his trucks look back at the original thread with this title.

We have a member in Richmond, VA who provided an account of being screwed over by this guy.
The listings will change all the time.
On eBay, you can look up a user, see the feedback, and look at the current listings.
That's your best bet.

I did purchase a truck from him as did some others. I ended up making it work by using whatever parts were suitable to use on other trucks as needed...the frame and bulkhead went to the junk yard. It wasn't the truck so much as his defiant, arrogant attitude towards the situation after the fact. Again, I am not the only one. I ended up making it work with what I got and I hope that others can see the posts and avoid the same issue.

Was being facetious when mentioning the Richva member.
Sorry you had to go through all the pain resulting from dealing with them.

They don't always. The vast majority get relisted time and time again, which in itself paints an iffy picture: Either they turn out to be nowhere near as good what people were expecting (based on their descriptions) when they turn up and see them in the flesh, or shill bidding is going on and the seller (of friend of) ends up inadvertently winning. I've even noticed the odd truck being won, amazingly positive feedback being subsequently left, and then a few weeks later the very same truck that apparently got sold gets listed again? I also think a lot of his 'selling' actually happens outside of eBay in order to avoid fees and negative feedback too.

Bottom line is... deal this seller at your peril!
