Ebay Spamming?

Anyone figure out a way to search on ebay without getting pages and pages of Disco stuff and 10 pages of Fuel injectors for every car under the sun?

I haven't searched in a while, but I never had this problem in the past.

You can go to advanced search and exclude words and depending on what you are looking for I generally have items listed by highest first since most of the crap tends to be at the bottom.

I tried a lot of those side boxes, even checked off used and 20 pages of Fuel injectors pop up.
I use to be able to do a general land rover Defender 90 search and have about 7 pages of stuff come up, now its like 40 pages of mostly crap thats not even Defender related.

Same problem. One thing I do is just set up e-mail alerts for certain obscure items I'm looking for.

Try a Boolean search like:
rover wheel nut -disco* -rang* -free*

Or

"defender brake"

No, don't use question marks.

The example I gave: rover wheel nut -disco* -rang* -free*

The search will collect everything with rover and wheel and nut in the listing title. It will return results that have those words in any order. You want to filter out the discovery and range rover and freelander listings, so you add a minus in front of those words with a space between and those words will be excluded. the asterisk mark * is a wildcard marker so it helps with titles that have spelling errors by excluding the rest of the word as well. Also saves typing.
Putting quotation marks around a word or phrase will search for that exact string of words only.

Using Booleans is the best way to search ebay, google, wikipedia, etc. The better your Boolean scripting, the better your search returns.
