Ebay ID's

Every time I bid on some Rover part on Ebay, I am sure I am bidding against someone on this board. Would it make sense to keep a list of our Ebay ID's somewhere? Even if it was on the private side or protected some how?

So would it be similiar to a "I saw it first, so I got dibs" type situation?

I think the first to bid should get it unless the other person really needs it.
I have backed out of auctions cause someone on this board needed it and I just wanted it.

If I want it you would never know until the last 3 or 4 seconds, I am a sniper. For me that is half the joy of eBay.

Damn it Ron,

I always wondered who Truck70 was... I am livelifesmart, and have bid against you several times. I think you were bidding on something I was selling, if I had known it was you, I would have just sold it to you through D90.

Eaby no longer lets you see who the current high bidder is they ***** out part of the name. I guess it would only be helpful if you wanted to see if you knew the seller.

Then tell Rayfi to quit bidding on it!

Sniping is the only way to bid.

Auto auction snipers are cheating...I get a rush doing myself. Specially on Defenders. Nothing like winning a cherry d-90 in the last seconds.

BTW my eBay id is...lrnasd90

If you are a sniper then you are a buyer.

I bid early and don't look back until I get the email that says I won. That way you don't get caught up in the heat of the moment and pay too much.

That is how I got my 110, sport bidding and no one else bid on the truck. I was very surprised when I realized that I had accidentally bought a vehicle but the price made it worth it.

i don't do ebay for d90 stuff, but on bike stuff i long ago realized there is no reason to bid early i've dealt with too much crap, like bidding on something, only to watch my bid go up incrementally until it was over my high price, i go on and buy the part else where, then surprise, end of the auction comes and the other bid retracted his bids, and a second guys has come along and bid me up to two dollars short of my high... and the seller is now pissed bc i'm not interested in the part(the last time this happened was three years so forgive me if policies have changed to prevent this.

If i'm going to bid it will be as late as possible, like 10 seconds...

I'm the ever original cgalpin, but don't bid much.

That's the funniest thing I've heard in a while - "Accidentally" buying a 110.
