ebay defender- price

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_500wt_1182 what do you guys think this is really worth. im a cheap bastard and think its way over priced. i dont care that its a limited- over 200K mile dented front fender and doors i think? seats are thrashed and back of center counsole is broke and cracked windshield.im sure there is more but i wanna say its mid high teens material. what do you think

The 97 models seem to always fetch a premium. I'd be more interested to talk about rust and leaks to really get a feel of how much that things suffered/will suffer.

They definitely show you all the cosmetic angles but nothing of the underside, crossmember, firewall, floor pans, etc.

Then again, it is posted on Ebay so I'm sure these are the most appropriate shots for a quick sell.

Price: no idea, but that's at the highest end I've seen at those miles though, LE premium or not.

Missing SD roof rack, LE side steps, mileage high yet still inaccurate and unknown, etc. etc..

Are you actively looking for a new truck or just saw this one and wanted to share?

I think anywhere else besides ebay and other public car listing sites, I would be surprised if he even gets his starting bid.

I thought those 97 odometers were accurate even when they show no mileage. I thought it was a display problem but it still tracks properly.

im always looking. i posted about this one cause its in town and was thinking about looking at it. defenders are so few and far between here. may have seen 4 (and that includes my old one) in the last 8-10 years here and i pretty sure this is one of them i see maybe once every 8 months or so running around
