Yup, a 5.9 about 90 miles south of me. Kinda freaky, but my cherry has popped!

Felt it in the office (White Plains, NY); my wife called (from NJ) she really felt it...fan & phone were shaking. I believe there was a quake in Colarado this morning as well.

I am in the middle of a hostile takeover so getting hours is a non-issue at the moment. Sleep is another matter.

My building (WTC 7) shook violently. We thought a crane fell. Needless to say, all surrounding buildings are evacuated. Assume we wait for aftershock?

I always feel jipped when there is an earthquake and I am in my car. You can't feel shit.

There was one in the 80s if I recall correctly in NJ. My brother fell out of bed. Good times..

I am on the 6th floor or a 17 story building in Tysons Corner...love looking out the window to see people staring and pointing at my building and wondering what they see that I don't!

I'm in Charlotte and didn't feel jack! Growing up in CA and spending a year in Baghdad has probably made me numb to the sensation.

Its sooooo true though. When I was a kid my father and I would go over to the grocery store, put out some folding chairs,popcorn/soda and laugh at people that were panicking for noooo reason just cause a typhoon was coming.
