Was washing my truck on the lawn when I felt it start to sway and started looking around for who was f'ing with me when my wife ran out of the house. Definite swaying side to side motion that faded and then came back again.

Definitely felt two waves. I am 27 stories up in Times Square and it certainly was interesting.

I'm pretty sure Barack Obama is to blame.

I felt the earthquake while inside at work.

Part of me thought that when I stepped outside it would look like WW3 hit and I would have to drive my rover around in the post-apocalypse

The earthquake in Colorado was 180 miles South of Denver in a small town of Cokedale (read BFE!). It was at 5 in the morning. Slept right through it. It was only rated at 5.3. But, the biggest in 40 years.

felt in philadelphia thats for sure. I was home today and sleeping(I know the middle of the afternoon). Woke me up, thought my house was coming down. I was having a nice dream too...what a way to wake up. Looked like my tv was going to come off the wall.
Nature has some power.

My wife calls and tells me that she is evacuated from building in SOHO, as building shook. I look up info on the web to confirm this while on the phone. Then i find out the biggest quake in 100 yrs hit colorado last night (where i am, this week for work). What are the chances both of us endure a quake, 2000 miles apart, within a space of 12 hours? Serendipitous.

felt it in philly, no big deal. But I'm working in a gov't building. So needless to say we got ~250 emails stating "what to do in the event of an earthquake"

Does this apply?
