Dublin, Ireland: Who's Been?

So I scammed a two day layover in Dublin on my way to London. Besides the pilgrimage to the Guinness brewery, what else should I see? I am staying near Trinity College, so I'll be doing the bar crawl. Thinking of taking a countryside tour to get away from the city and see the real Ireland.

Nice. I lived in Trinity College for a bit as a kid. Wish I could remember more from my time there to be of more help. Go to M.J. O'Neill's Pub though (not a biased opinion of course).

I spent four years in Dublin as a kid, before moving to Belfast. To make the most of your 2 days I'd rent a car and get out of the city. If you're feeling adventurous, Belfast is only an hour and a half north. My brother has a few restaurants up there and you'll see more defenders north of the border too. Watch out not to get too mangled your first night in Dublin: you'll wake up in Heathrow and won't remember how you got there!
