Dog Ramp Ideas

Anyone come up with something different for a dog ramp for a SW. I was thinking about building a low box (drawer)on the floor where I could slide out the ramp then slide it back in. Not sure it would be long enough though.

I have seen the ones you buy and they seem like a PIA to unfold and such.

Thanks

My big boy has slightly tired joints.

or easier:

On my IIA I replaced the door with a lift gate and tail gate. Then I added some chain, so the tail gate could drop lower that level, and I repainted the surface and added some sand to the wet paint for traction.

Folding version

My guys have used the one that folds in half. Heavy plastic with great slats for traction. folds easy and stores easy as well. We have been using it for many, many years and bull dogs. All the dogs like it. Not really too expensive.
Take care,

Thanks for the ideas. Where do you store the one that folds in half? I have the jump seats and one side is up all the time. Was thinking about strapping it to them.
