HEY! (lol) He only said a littler better looking! And Why do I care what a guy thinks about my looks compaired to a dog? But it also explains when I road with ken why i had to sit in the back and Zach got to sit up front.

Jimmy, looking at that picture I now relize why nothing in my truck works right.

It's not the truck Mike, it's the driver

It was Zach who grabbed the other end though...

Thanks again everyone for all the kind comments. I'm only hoping that people will have as good of memories of ME when I move on to the big mud puddle in the sky... (I HOPE I'm heading upward and not the other direction... )

loss of a good dog

I found her laying in the strawberry patch as I left for work tuesday morning. Kasha was an Anatolian shepherd. Over the course of her fourteen years she was an ever present protector.

She was never an affectionate dog, and she would not stoop to playing fetch. She hadn't stepped foot in the house in years. Even in the worst storms of winter she prefered to curl up in a thicket where she could keep an eye on things.

Twenty four-seven, her life was devoted to guarding us -her flock.
Nothing...nothing escaped her watchful gaze.

On one occasion thirty feet, and that dog, were all that seperated me from a sow with cubs. The outcome may have been in doubt, but Kasha's devotion and courage were not.

Two days without the feel of her watchful stare on me, and I am beginning to realize how much I'll miss her.

Kasha now rests on a hill, under a pine, overlooking her territory.

Rod... She sure looks like a sweetheart! I am so sorry about Kasha, for what it's worth, she greatly appreciates what you did for her. She knows she was loved and she's waiting for you at the Bridge.

Even when they don't feel good, it's funny how they just keep on doing what they love. Again I am sorry for your loss and can't help but feeling sad for you during this time. She will be watching over your family and you.

My deepest condolences
Martin

Rod - So sorry for your loss. Life is not full without the companionship of man's best friend. Remember the 14 great years you had with her. Mark

This is my dog ACHILL she was found whilst we were on an offroading hoilday in Ireland.
We were in a village shop when some kids came in asking if anyone wanted puppies.
next day she was left out side in a layby.so she came homw with us.
We called her ACHILL as that was the place we were in.
She LOVES LR's whatever the weather, she insists that she goes greenlaning, roadtripping or just to the shops and back!

Your dogs picture

I'm curios to know what kind of dogs you guys have. How many of them love to ride in your Rover and how many hates to ride in your Rover. Mine for one hates my Rover, especially when I take him 4 wheelin, ask Dave Lucas

Here is my 11 months old Alaskan Malamute, his name is Tenakee Chief.

Here's my pup at 8 weeks. Petra is now 9 months and loves to 'heard' any vehicles within range.
