Here are my 3 pups. The largest in this shot (80lb aussie) jumped out of the side window while going 20mph when he was 6 months. Now all three wear chest harnesses and they are hooked up to a swivel that I mounted on the ceiling of the rear area so they can not jump out any more...

Not sure if you want to do this to that awesome couch but if you spray some diluted white vinegar on there they'll stay off from what I've heard. I've only heard this. I have up on the off the couch policy a long time ago. Shit him and the cat push me outta bed sometimes!!

Filson Dog Bed

As you can all relate, I am still in search of the perfect dog bed that won't be shredded by a pup. I found this one but I hesitate to pull the trigger as I've spent hundreds looking for a durable dog bed. Any opinions on this (Tom?)

Bill, they're a great bed. Not cheap, but worth it. Buy once, cry once.

puppies have mo concept of what NOT to eat...at least this dog is smarter than my last as a puppy. The other day I found her chewing on a used toilet wand scrubber...I'm like really...of all of the things!

I kennel trained my lab puppy and he went through several beds...I finally made him stay on the plastic floor for a day, each time he would destroy the mattress...after the second one, he decided he'd rather lay on it then eat it. Once he was about 6 months old, he had the full run of the house and never destroyed another thing - except for the toys he was given - he's a toy killing machine!! Even at 8 years old!!

Isn't this this same thing Obama said when they brought the 'first dog' into the White House?

Well the new dog bed just arrived and it was well received. This is the BEST dog bed I've seen!

OK that's freaking me out...the dog has a smiley face spot pattern on her ribs!

Filson.com and it's the larger one. It doesn't look that big but it is big enough for a Dane size dog. You'll want the smaller one, for a Spaniel.

Nice, thanks for the info Bill! My male Boykin is 46#s and wears a large pfd/wetsuit but he's no Great Dane and the new pup is a female so she should be somewhat smaller.
