We got a new dog a couple of weeks ago. His me is Augustus, but we like to call him Gus. We wanted a Border Terrier and we got the closest thing we could find in a short time. Best of all he was a rescue dog from the pound. He is quit the character.
Our other dog was lonely and depressed after we had to put her littler mate down. She has accepted him in her pack and she seems to once again be happy. Thank God for good dogs.

Good looking dog you got there. We're thinking of getting another Boykin spaniel. Smartest breed I've ever owned.

Argo

Well, thought I'd introduce you to a fellow Land Rover lover, Argo. He's a mutt, probably the coolest dog I've ever been around. Got him for free at a motocross track I used to ride at. He thinks he is a person!

So I think I found a good American Bull Dog breeder here in Texas. In two weeks I'm going to check out the kennel and see whats what. Here is a photo of the pup I'm interested in, but of course at this point it's based on markings. And here is a photo of the father of the litter.

Good looking bulldog,
Have you checked out leavitt bulldog? IMHO they are the best of the bulldogs. Lots of info on the web. If you like bulldogs check them out. The bulldog is not the smartest breed, they are in a class all of there own.

I'll check them. I prefer Great Danes, but haven't found any good breeders in the state. I figured I'd try this breed...it's a mastiff line so should do well. My Dane was the most intelligent dog I've had the pleasure of knowing. Her 10 years was too short. It's been two years so I'm ready to try again!

If you are thinking about another Dane, look into a European Great Dane. There aren't many breeders around the country, but they are a great option. Euros tend to live a bit longer, be a bit healthier, and are generally larger than their American cousins.

Here is my boy, Abe

That is a Great looking Dane! They love the snow too...I'm kinda looking forward to experiencing a new breed. I've had Sheppard's and a Dalmatian before, the mastiffs are preferred.
