Rocky, this one is straight on my computer, but when I upload, it's sideways. No clue what I'm doing wrong.

Very sad day....

I have been meaning to post these pictures here for a while now. Unfortunately early this morning my best friend died from an accident with our other dog. From what I am being told from my hysterical Fiancee over the phone (I'm currently over seas on deployment) that around one in the morning the dogs were playing in the backyard. When our one and half year puppy got her mouth stuck on my five year old boxer's collar and in the process of her trying to get unstuck choked him to death. The neighbors heard her crying and came over to see what was going on and at the same time wake up my fiancee. Our puppy is completely heartbroken that she killed her best friend, my fiancee thinks it's all of her fault and I out in the middle of the ocean without a hard drink of any kind to drown my sorrows. He was the greatest dog I have ever known. He went everywhere with me and was always rode shotgun..... Well most of the time. Rest in Peace Jace!!! Love you Buddy!!!

Dude! That sucks.

I had a brindle boxer like yours. I loved the look with the ears "a la natural".

Josh,

So sorry hear.
Dogs really do impact our lives...and become part of the family.
Get back safe...

That sucks. My 12 year old lab died in my arms in the back of the truck last week as we rushed her to the vet. They are like family members and when they go it hurts.

Found a old one of my battle buddy and I. He's on the hood with me next to him. I know not quite a rover dog picture but a favorite of mine regardless
