I'm no vet either but I did use to work with one. They always said sticking thier head out the window put thier eyes at risk for crap getting in them and the ears at risk becasue they will flap around in the wind causing blood pools and irritations. Plus thier head is at risk of getting hit also. As to the loud noise of riding in a 90 affecting his hearing I don't think it will be a real issue. I figure (and I'm sure most dogs agree with me) having a dog with some hearing loss beats the hell out of having to leave them at home.

I don't really worry about my pup's (Ali) hearing loss. My only worry with her in the ST is her going out the window. She loves to stand with her front paws on one of the wheel wells and head outside. I have to have her tied in so she doesn't go out too far. I worry that I'll take a corner too hard and she'll spill out the side.

Picked him up last night. What an awesome dog. Great with other dogs, other people, and my niece and nephews. Still need a pic of him in the Defender, but he just chills out on rides. Pretty awesome. I think his name is going to be Murphy.

Murphy in the Defender. Any time we stop he tries to climb up to this spot. We obviously take him down, so he usually hangs out behind the Tuffy console nudged against the lower drop curtain, or in the footwell.

Lucas definitely has some naughty in him! he'll grab shoe and look at you, see the look in your eyes and slowly put it back.

Dunno. Just tweaked it on my iPhone so lets see how it looks now.
Looks ok after a quick rotate. Do you save your photos after rotating them?

Thats an awesome pic Rocky! That pic was upright when I uploaded it as it was saved on my desktop upright. Dunno. Doesn't happen every time but every once in a while.

Thx triple9! The black guy's favorite kennel was my D1. So I kept his dog bed from that aka rear seat

These are my 15 week old labs. They have a lot of energy! The chocolate one is Colonel Jameson and the yellow one is Spring Hill Gunner.

cats too?

here's a cool pic of my woman's Japanese Bobcat Nao Ming finding a good place in the defender. She's more of a cat-dog than a full on cat. She's really protective of Lucas and loves to sit in my 90 while I work on it but as soon as the engine starts she bolts!
