They always turn the window knob to open the door. I always tell them the door handle is down by their hip.

I had one buddy of mine always open the front half of the glass on the window and never he rear half. Always thought that was strange. I come close to ripping my fingers off trying to get that front glass to move.

One thing that pisses me off is when they sit in the passenger seat and put their feet up on dash... I keep thinking to myself, if that little plastic strip breaks it will probably cost me $1,000

I had a guy cut the top once. And then proceeded to lock the door. All you gotta do is giggle the handle and it pops open.

Laughing my ass off on this. I just think everyone are retards for not immediately figuring out how to get out of what you just got into. The Porsche RS door cards comment was good too. Same people couldn't figure that out either. These people are not dumb, but you have to admit that this "technology" is model T era.

This sounds like Land Rover ownership in a nutshell.

I have a great story about that. I was dating this girl years ago and she had been riding in the 90 for almost a year. One night we get in this huge fight while driving to dinner. I turn around and head back to her apt. Skidded to a stop out front and said "get out". She just sits there. I say again to get out. Finally without moving she yells "I don't know how". She was so pissed and flustered she forgot how to get out.

And BTW, she never got in again

i finaly know what you guys are talking about, today i drove 2 friends home from school (yes, highschool), one very large guy and one very small girl. first the girl couldnt figure out how to open the door to get in back (SW) she keep tryying to put down on the latch, one i explaned how to open the door she climbed in and we were on our way. after droping of the guy she desided it would be faster to climb to the front seat... when we got to her house, one again she could figure out how to open the from the inside, at first she thought the window crank would do it.

Im sad to say, my generation cant work a door..
