When defining off roading I would include private land, Class VI roads and trails and beach/dune driving with some degree of frequency (not just once a year). Let me know your thoughts!

Um yah...

If you buy a Defender and only use it on road you are a serious masochist.

The Discos didn't appear in the Camel Trophy until 1990 in the form of a 200Tdi three door.

Oh yeah that was fun, massive boost leak on the turbo, tons of black smoke, no power....but it made it. Why? Not because of me, because it's a Land Rover!!

Good on ya! I hate when people buy these trucks and don't use them to their fullest potential. Might as well put 22" spinner rims and use them as latte getters.

Shoot I took my wife's new LR4 into a drainage ditch (on purpose) after picking the kids up from preschool just because. Yup scratched the rims to shite and gouged the plastic trim but the kids loved getting the front wheel in the air. Wifey was cool too. Totally stock, no sliders, etc. Figured why not, it was made for this (sorta)
