I wish somehow we could blame the ethanol content. How ironic would that be?

Aren't the fill spouts different for petrol vs diesel so you don't get them mixed up?

Based on the Chevrolet Kodiak. Duramax V8/Allison. There is a reason they have a spare. But what if they screwed that one up as well..

BTW, what is Diesel in Hebrew?

When did the Secret Service's responsibility become something 'the administration' started managing? While they are in the executive branch I'm betting the detail that did this wasn't a political appointee related affair...

Didn't they get rolled up in DHS along with the rest of the world?

I'd wager we ship fuel with the cars to eliminate all possibilty of any issues. The car has a blood bank of the Presidents blood in the trunk-so I'm sure fuel is also planned for. Secret service is responsible for the cars and their maint. If it truly was a fuel screw up, I'd bet some ones career is over.

Yes. DHS; the little gov't solution...but that's a political statement I suppose.

From my interactions with some USSS SA's that I know the organizational climate existed well prior to the incident(s) and is agnostic to the party in the WH. By and large the political appointees that either side of the aisle puts in place are figureheads for much of the USG. As one would expect, and indeed I would suggest desire.

FWIW, I don't think they roll with the SS abbreviation...but I could be wrong.
