discounts for mil guys

For all the mil folks(possibly LEO, Firefighters, etc.) If you guys go to www.promotive.com you can sign up using your .mil email. Then just join the service team that you're a part of and spend away. There are over 350 companies that have fairly decent discounts. At least a 35% for Optima batteries after you click thru their sales training slides and quizzes. Some limits on purchases per year but thought I would pass on the knowledge of this to others. Lots of outdoors stuff, camping, hunting, fishing, clothing, skiing, and a few car related companies have discounts. Enjoy!

For those that do it, I joined the AF and the uniformed service teams and there was a total of 388 companies for those two combined. Not sure the differences between service teams.

This works for military and those not on active orders, as well. You may just have to deal with scanning some documents. For active duty it is just a few simple clicks.

From my understanding, Navy has Fiat, some lingerie brands and chamomile teas not available to Army and Marine teams.

That tracks...there is a reason why we say that within the Dept of the Navy the Marines are the men's department...

Just kidding, I have tremendous love for Doc's, Chaps, and Seabees-and it has to be said that the Navy sets the standard that the rest of the world is measured by in terms of naval power projection.

and they have a goat, bell bottom pants and 72 flavors of ice cream in combat zones. That counts for something, right?

They can enforce the laws, but not a branch. At least they no longer fall under the Department of Transportation.

The first rule of the Navy Team is that you don't talk about discounts available to the Navy Team.
