Diesel in USA. Its about time.

I read this morning LandRover to offer Diesel in the Range Rover in the USA.
Its about time we start getting more fuel efficient SUVs. Two years ago I handed in one of my man cards and I sold my 11 mpg H2 and replaced with a more fuel efficient Explorer limited as our family car. While its a nicely put together vehicle, its not a truck and I don't enjoy it. However it gets average 21 mpg. Big Deal. my cousin in UK gets 85 mpg. I often travel in the uk and the cars I rent are always between 54 and 63 mpg. Thats common there.

Getting a Diesel Range Rover to replace the Explorer may be a considerable option since nothing else is out there I like for a Daily family car that I can trust the kids to drive. (no way they are driving a Himalaya)

Posted twice yesterday. http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=58949

Btw: are you converting you UK mpg to US mpg? The US gallon is 20% smaller than the UK gallon. Just to complicate matters they sell petrol and diesel in liters but calculate mpg!

I guess I missed those posts.

Fishy? I guess so. I had an H1 as well, but sold it to reinvest the money in my business. Stupid mistake.

I actually saw that picture on Ebay many many years ago. It is one of my backgrounds on my computer. I am sure I am not the only one.

This poster needs to be placed on employee bulletin boards at every fast food restaurant for those seeking more money for flipping burgers.

Someone should have this garage shot airbrushed on the front of their garage. that would be classic! garage opens up and it's actually a minivan and civic.

or better yet, vise verse!
